Dear Fellow Tea Drinkers,
I see that many you have have already stopped to take a peek at our new product line, but I’d like to maek the official announcement anyway. Beginning in April, The Tea Shop is pleased to introduce our new line of Tea Shirts! These are high quality t-shirts that bring the world face to face with your love of tea. Catchy, humorous, or straight forward, you’re sure to find a slogan that suits you!
Back to the tea itself. My choice for the month is one of my favortite Tea Shop Darjeelings. My inspiration came while reading a fascinating article about a recent expedition to Mount Everest, the highest peak of the Himilayas. (Stay away from these Himilayan hornets. Their sting can dissolve flesh!!) Though not named for Everest, the name of this pinnacular Darjeeling is something akin to Thus far and no farther, an indication of where, according to legend, it is to be found. This Runglee Rungliot Estate is most certainly a cut above the rest!
And lastly, for a bit of fun, I bring you a site that my wonderful wife clipped for me. The ultimate tea-lover’s vacation? It certainly seems that way! As our weather here has swung lately between winter cold and spring chill, this unique little spot appeals to me more and more. The Shop does not have any ties to this company, nor have we been to the estate, so though we cannot officially recommend a stay here, it does turn our wistful eye. (If any of our readers have been here, please add a comment or send us an email.)

These historic houses have been restored by Dilmah Tea to offer guests the unique experience of life on a working tea estate. Bungalow sizes range from 4 to 6 rooms; 20 luxurious rooms and suites in all.
